This timeless design object is a modern interpretation of the traditional wooden bowl. The side walls of the bowl, which is turned from solid wood, are not curved like the classic versions, but are completely straight and, in combination with the flat base, form a truncated cone. The reference to modern architecture is unmistakable.
To ensure stability, but also to create an exciting contrast of materials, the bowl was placed on a filigree metal frame. This can be chrome-plated, patinated or painted.
The bowl itself is available in several types of wood. The combination of wenge and bleached maple is particularly extravagant.
The wooden bowl looks particularly elegant in combination with a lacquered column.
The wooden bowl is used to store fruit and many other things.
But even without contents, it is an attractive eye-catcher.
